At the beginning of the Chief Guest's speech at the convocation ceremony, the following words were spoken: Respected Chairman and Vice Chairman of the GNIOT Group of Institutions.

The renowned CEO of GIMS Greater Noida, Shri Swadesh Kumar Singh Ji, the respected Director of the Institute, distinguished faculty members, all the esteemed guests, members of the media, parents and my dear students who are receiving their convocation degree. He extends his warm greetings to all students.

He observed that for the last several years, the GNIOT Group has made exemplary work in the field of education and has made an important contribution to nation-building in the form of quality management education. To be part of the PGDM Convocation Ceremony held on this esteemed campus was an event of joy, pride and great satisfaction for him.

While addressing the students, the Honourable Governor said that this occasion is not only about receiving a degree. It is an occasion that commemorates the achievement of an important educational journey and marks the beginning of a new professional journey. To complete a difficult professional course like PGDM involves consistent hard work, discipline and determination.

He further said that though the degree they were being awarded currently would provide them with an identity, it was their character, attitude, work culture and ethical values that would help them stand out as outstanding in life. This is because in the era of technology, the digital economy, data analysis and intelligence, management education is not just for earning a livelihood but also for creating a strong country.

The Hon’ble Governor appreciated GNIOT Institute of Management Studies for not just educating their students, but also grooming them to be leaders, strategic thinkers, professionals, and possessors of very high ethical values. He particularly complimented the CEO, Shri Swadesh Kumar Singh, to whom he said, “Not only is he a visionary and dedicated leader with a passion for academic excellence and a keen sense of management, but he has enabled the Institute to steadily grow into a premier institution.

The Guest of Honour, Shri Nagendra Nath Tripathi, the Regional General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party Bihar-Jharkhand, inspired the students towards carrying out their future tasks with a sense of nationalism, discipline, and social responsibility. The Convocation Ceremony was graced by Dr Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Chairman, GNIOT Group, who spoke about the rich academic heritage, sound industry-institute interface and holistic development of students at this institution.

The Vice Chairman, Shri Gaurav Gupta, congratulated the graduating students and said that GNIOT Group is incessantly striving hard to prepare students to match up to global competition.

Guests present on the occasion included the Director of the Institute, Dr Bhupendra Kumar Som; Bharatiya Janata Party leader Shri Neeraj Singh; Shri Mahendra Kumar; Registrar, Shri Anil Madhwal and many other distinguished guests, faculty members, parents and a large number of students.

The programme was anchored by Dr Shalini Sharma with efficiency and effectiveness, who as compere added great value through her confident, disciplined and time-bound management of the stage. Over 290 students were awarded their degrees during the Convocation. The event came to an end on a memorable note with joy and pride and an eagerness to pursue newer aspirations.
