The three-day residential program was conducted on 22nd to 24th January 2026 at the IIM Udaipur campus. It was attended by dealer principals and senior dealership executives from 12 states. The participants included those from major automobile brands such as Maruti Suzuki, Kia, Mahindra, Honda, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, MG Motor, SML Isuzu, Hyundai, Volkswagen, BMW, and Hero MotoCorp.

The sessions used classroom teaching by faculty, case studies, simulations and group activities to help participants learn the applications of AI in real situations.
What the Leaders Said
Manish Raj Singhania the Chairman of FADA’s Academy and Research division said that now AI has not just become an idea for the future but has become an essential requirement for leaders to become. He further said how the program was created to assist dealership leaders with the changing landscape by the onset of AI in their respective businesses.
Professor Debanjan Mitra who was the Program Director at IIM Udaipur commented the course gave learners practical insights on leveraging data and AI in different functions of the business in the automobile retail industry. The program included the day-to-day operations as well as strategic planning.
Industry and Academic Collaboration
The initiative by FADA Academy in collaboration with IIM Udaipur attempted to blend business knowledge with business requirements. The academy provided an academic setting where participants could use its facilities and network with students from various regions and brands.
Also, the program had limited seats to ensure maximum interaction and learning among the participants from India’s automobile retail market.
