CUET UG 2026: Photo Submission Verification Certificate Deadline Extended, Exam Details

The National Testing Agency has extended the deadline for submitting the photo verification certificate for Common University Entrance Test candidates, as per a notice released on April 14, 2026.

CUET UG 2026 Photo Submission Verification Certificate Deadline Extended, Exam Details

As per the modified dates, the aspirants have been asked to submit their documents from April 10 to April 16, 2026, which was previously from April 7 to April 10, 2026. This change in dates is applicable for both non-Aadhaar applicants and Aadhaar/DigiLocker verification.

Aspirants need to download the document, get it attested and then upload it online. Besides, they are supposed to carry a printed copy of it to the test center for verification.

Alternative Identity Verification Method for CUET UG 2026

If the applicants take part in the CUET Entrance Examination, then they need to verify their identity through a duly signed and attested certificate and upload their photo in it. It could be attested by the principal of the school/college or the headmaster.

An alternate option for attestation is to get it from a Class I gazetted officer like Tehsildar, SDM, DM, Revenue officer etc. In the case of NRI applicants, a Class I Officer of the Indian Embassy can also attest the certificate. Besides, applicants should also keep a printed copy of their ID proof.

CUET UG 2026: Examination Schedule and Marking Scheme

The CUET UG entrance exam will take place from May 11 to May 31 at various examination centers within India and abroad. There are 13 languages in which the examination will be conducted, such as English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Bengali, Assamese and Punjabi.

Total marks allotted in the exam will be 250 and there will be 3 sections. Candidates will be awarded 5 marks for each correct answer, whereas 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers.
