IIT Delhi Department of Management Studies is renowned for its brilliant and talented professors who bring a mix of academic rigor, research quality and industry expertise into the classes. The faculty includes professors, associate professors, assistant professors and visiting faculty with abundant experiences in management, technology, economics, finance and entrepreneurship. Most of them hold doctorates from well established colleges in India and abroad and many of them have been awarded for their impressive work in research publication and consulting. 

DMS IIT Delhi professors are involved in teaching, research, consulting and training and hence students get to learn from them theoretical and practical experience. Their experience is in marketing, finance, human resource management, strategy, operations, supply chain management, information systems, economics and business analytics. This multi disciplinary ability enables students to get a comprehensive understanding of management education.

Apart from academics, the faculty also engages with industry veterans, government representatives and international organisations on a regular basis to conduct consulting and advisory assignments. Their involvement in real life projects and policymaking ensures studies in the classroom make sense in the context of contemporary business spheres. Several of them also publish articles in international journals of repute, make presentations at international conferences and work on case studies and publications all contributing to the academic stature of DMS IIT Delhi.

Faculty have a major role in facilitating innovation and research through setting dedicated centres of excellence, sponsoring projects and guiding doctorate candidates. They make consistent efforts towards building numerous skills in students. Guest lectures, seminars, workshops and mentorship sessions organised by teachers enhance the learning process of students.
