IIM Lucknow History

The institute came into existence in 1984. Since then IIML's faculty, alumni and support personnel have had a direct or indirect impact on millions of lives. IIM Lucknow Admission Process

IIM Lucknow's admission process involves several steps. Prior to doing anything else, candidates must take the CAT exam. Based on their CAT results, academic standing and professional experience, shortlisted candidates for the Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) are chosen. IIM Lucknow possesses a robust, seasoned teaching faculty of more than 97 faculty members at various ranks: professors, associate professors and assistant professors with decent research backgrounds and teaching experiences.

All members of the faculty have a Ph.D. (with first-class distinction in previous degrees) and high-quality academic backgrounds.  Professors generally have more than ten years of teaching or working experience and at least four years of service as an associate professor at elite schools, and a sound record of publication in reputable journals.
