The sixth member of the prestigious IIM family of business schools is the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) which was founded in 1996. The Government of India chose the Institute to be set up in Indore in order to promote management education in central India and it has been a pioneer in the area of management, engaging with business, government circles and public utilities.

EQUIS has re-accredited IIM Indore in 2023 maintaining the Triple Crown Accreditation. UN PRME Global Forum recognised its positive influence on culture, governance and systems in 2023 with a Level 4 rating. IIM Indore set up the ANVESHAN Centre of Excellence under a grant of ₹19.95 Cr through an MoU signed with MoHUA. Focus on imparting to political leaders knowledge of urban sanitation and waste management. Offers public policy, urban governance and change management programs. It was opened on July 11, 2023.

In 2022 the organisation was awarded the Silver Award for Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) initiatives for its responsible and sustainable operations.

MSDSM for IIT Indore IIMI collaborated with IIT Indore to introduce the first-ever master's degree course. The two-year Master of Science in Data Science and Management is an online course featuring 15 hours of live classes and 900 hours of study. The program was designed following the increasing need for effective data scientists and analysts who can lead the success of an organisation.

Need-Based Financial Assistance

Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) is provided by IIM Indore so that no eligible candidate misses out on attaining the education due to financial constraints. PGP, PGP-HRM and IPM students below ₹12 lakh per annum family income can apply. The quantum of aid is decided every year as a proportion of the institute's highest support based on family income, assets and conduct. The selection procedure consists of two steps: an application evaluation followed by a personal encounter with the NBFA Committee to assess and verify financial need prior to awarding assistance.

Who can apply?

• Financial assistance is provided to participants in the Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), PGP HRM (PGPH) and Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) who have an annual family income below ₹1.20 Lakhs.

• Eligible candidates can apply for the IIM Indore NBFA on the provided form, which is obtainable from the PGP/IPM Office. It is imperative that they apply only on the form received from the proper PGP/IM office.

• All candidates who have applied under the EWS quota but failed to secure a seat under the general or any other quota can apply for NBFA. Any candidate who has applied under the SC, ST, OBC or physically challenged quotas and satisfies the above conditions of eligibility can apply for the NBFA.

IIM Indore 2025 CAT Exam Cut-Off

To gain admission to the elite Postgraduate Programme (PGP) at IIM Indore in 2025, contestants are required to sit for the CAT exam. Although the precise cut-off has not been announced yet it is anticipated to be at least 97+ percentile. However, since the final selection also looks into academic achievements, work experience and diversity concerns, passing the cut-off is not a certainty for admission.

IIM Indore offers excellent placement offers for its flagship and specialisation programs. The maximum package of the Postgraduate Programme in Management and the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management was ₹1.00 crore per annum on an average of ₹25.68 LPA. High demand for skilled professionals in the market is demonstrated in the Executive Postgraduate Programme in Management which had a highest package of ₹47.00 LPA and a mean of ₹27.5 LPA. The Postgraduate Programme in Human Resource Management achieved a highest package of ₹40.00 LPA and mean ₹25.00 LPA. Placement details are not disclosed for doctoral programs such as the DPM, EDPM, EDPMG and PGP-MX.
