Jamia Millia Islamia Faculty Introduction

The Department of Management Studies at JMI is under the leadership of a faculty team comprising some extremely well-qualified and highly experienced individuals who specialize in different fields such as finance, marketing, human resource management, organisational behaviour, operations management and strategic management. 1. Prof. Amirul Hasan Ansari

Title/Designation: Professor and Head, Department of Management Studies

Learning: PhD, M.Phil and MA in Psychology from  Aligarh Muslim University, along with MSW and PG Diploma in Training & Development.

Academic Experience:

• He has been serving as a professor since September 2010 and has made a lot of contributions in teaching, research, academics and student mentoring.

• From January 2006 till September 2010, he served as an associate professor and made significant contributions in the area of teaching and research supervision.

• He served as a reader from February 2002 till December 2005 and was associated with various activities related to academics, research and institution development.

• He served as a lecturer from January 1996 till January 2002 in which he taught management subjects along with research and other academic activities.

• He started his academic career as a lecturer from October 1990 till November 1992.

2. Ms Kavita Chauhan

• He has been working as a Professor in the Department of Management Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia since October 2011

• He worked as a research coordinator between February 2018 and September 2021.
