The IIT Kanpur DoMS faculty is well qualified with expertise in various areas with PhDs from prestigious Indian and international institutions. The major faculty members are Abhinava Tripathi, Anoop Singh, Avijit Khanra, Devlina Chatterjee, Harshal Rajan Mulay, Jitender Kumar and Veena Bansal. The areas in which the faculty possess expertise include finance, marketing, HR, operations management, strategy management and business analytics. These professors possess industry experience and post-doc research. 

The faculty at IIT Kanpur DoMS is highly qualified and experienced. They have strong academic backgrounds along with industry experience. Most faculty members have PhDs from leading Indian and foreign institutes such as IIMs, IITs and leading foreign universities. Some faculty members have done post doctoral research and management courses. This helps them stay updated with the latest knowledge in their fields.

The faculty members have varied expertise in fields such as finance, marketing, HR, operations, strategy, analytics and entrepreneurship. The faculty members are also busy in research activities and publishing papers in various journals both in the nation and abroad. Some of the faculty members are also visible as reviewers and session chairs or as part of the advisory board for various conferences.

Apart from the research work, the faculty members of the DoMS IITK are also engaged in teaching and guiding. Many of them have experience as visiting or guest faculty members at other prestigious institutions in India and abroad. This keeps them updated about the developments taking place across the world.

The faculty is also very important for event organizing, student activities and cultural/academic events and helps to develop students’ overall personalities. 

1. Abhinava Tripathi

• He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at IIT Kanpur from August 2022. 

• He earlier served as an Assistant Professor at IIT Roorkee from July 2020 to July 2022.

• He also worked as a Credit Analyst at ICRA from August 2013 to August 2015.
