IIM Jammu Admission Process 2026 Overview

IIM Jammu provides various management programs for students, grads, working professionals and researchers. Their admission process differs depending on the program and is based on scores of national entrance exams like CAT, JIPMAT, JEE Advanced, GMAT and GRE. For some programs selection also depends on your academic record, work experience, interview and overall profile.

Programs Offered by IIM Jammu 2026 

IIM Jammu MBA and MBA Healthcare Admission/Selection Process 2026 

IIM Jammu accepts students for its 2026-28 MBA and MBA Healthcare programs using CAT 2025 scores, personal interviews and profile reviews. The institute expects to admit about 300 students. Admission criteria and cutoffs could change if needed.

Stages of the IIM Jammu Admission 2026 

The following steps are part of the IIM Jammu admissions process -

IIM Jammu MBA and MBA Healthcare Selection Process 2026 

Step 1 - Appear for CAT 2025

Candidates should appear for the CAT 2025 examination and fulfil the minimum overall and sectional percentile criteria to be considered for other steps of the process. 

Step 2 - Apply Through CAP 2026

IIM Jammu participates in the common admission process (CAP 2026) along with IIM Bodh Gaya & IIM Sirmaur. CAP 2026 consists of two stages - 

• Stage 1 - Expression of Interest (EOI)

• A candidate must have the minimum required CAT 2025 cutoff. After that you can submit your Expression of Interest through the CAP portal.

• It is compulsory to submit this form.

• This doesn't ensure a PI call.

• Stage 2 - Personal Interview Registration

• Shortlisted candidates receive a PI invitation.

• Candidates must choose a PI slot and pay the application cost. 

CAP 2026 Minimum CAT Cutoff

Note - The number of applicants may determine the real PI cut-offs. 

Step 3 - Personal Interview (PI)

• Candidates who get shortlisted for CAP have to attend the Personal Interview round.

• If the candidate is shortlisted for multiple MBA programs under the CAP they will only have one PI and the same PI score will be considered for all the participating institutions. 

Step 4 - Final Merit List Preparation

IIM Jammu final merit list out of 100 marks is calculated.

The profile score is made up of -

Academic performance determines how marks are given.

• 3 Marks for Intermediate

• 2 Marks for High School

• 5 marks for Graduation

4.3.3 Work Experience - 10 Marks

After graduation only full-time paid work experience is taken into account.

Note - Points allocated to candidates having 24-36 months of experience will get the highest score.

IIM Jammu AI & Business Analytics Admission/Selection Process 2026 

IIM Jammu admission and selection process for AI & Business Analytics is pretty much the same as their MBA and MBA in Healthcare programs. IIM Jammu B.Tech + MBA Eligibility Criteria

Students are required to fulfill all the eligibility criteria of both JEE Main and JEE Advanced such as - 

• Age limit criteria

• Qualifying examination eligibility criteria

• Year of appearance of qualifying examination

IIM Jammu B.Tech + MBA  Selection Process

Getting into the Integrated Dual Degree Program relies on how you perform in the JEE Advanced. If accepted, students can go for both a B.Tech at IIT Jammu and an MBA from IIM Jammu without taking the CAT for the MBA part. To stay enrolled in the program they have to keep their grades up by maintaining a CGPA of 7 or more throughout their B.Tech studies.

IIM Jammu IPM Admission / Selection Process 2026

IIM Jammu admits students to its IPM 2026-31 program via JIPMAT 2026. They expect to enrol about 140 students. Plus, the institute might change its admission rules or cutoffs while accepting students during the admission process.

Stages of the Selection Process

The IPM admission procedure is -

• Appearing for JIPMAT 2026 held by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

• High school and intermediate marks will be assessed. 

• Preparation of the merit list based on JIPMAT marks and academics.

IIM Jammu IPM Eligibility Criteria

The following are the candidates' eligibility requirements for Integrate Program in Management - 

• Have earned an intermediate degree or its equivalent in 2024, 2025 or 2026.

• Have finished high school or its equivalent by 2022 or later.

• Have received at least 60% of the possible points in Classes 10 and 12 for General, EWS and NC-OBC students and 55% for SC, ST and PwD candidates.

• Students who have completed the IB International Board and IGCSE are also qualified to apply.

• As long as they pass their Class 12 by 31 July 2026 those who are awaiting their results are also qualified.

In case two students have identical composite score preference is given in the following order- 

1. JIPMAT score (Higher)

2. Class XII marks (Higher)

3. Class X marks (Higher)

7. Year of Class XII passing (Earlier)

Note - The admission process of IIM Jammu IPM consists of JIPMAT score (70%) and Class X and XII marks (15% each). There is no interview procedure. 

IIM Jammu eBBA Admission/Selection Process 2026 

IIM Jammu provides an eBBA a four-year online undergrad degree. It blends management education with data analytics and follows NEP 2020 with various exit options. Plus students can earn industry certifications. They also work on live projects and get apprenticeship support from the Accenture Centre of Advanced Studies.

IIM Jammu offers Executive MBA (EMBA) in blended mode for working executives. Around 90 students are expected to form the batch size for the 2026-28 batch.

For candidates with a valid CAT/GMAT/GRE score in the last 3 years there may be no need to sit for the IIMJAT 2026 exam.

IIM Jammu EMBA Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, college or equivalent such as CA/CS/ICWA

• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General Category, 47% marks in aggregate for NC-OBC Category and 45% marks in aggregate for SC/ST/DAP Category.

• Three years full-time work experience as of the last date of application

Note - Work experience gained during the course of study would not be counted.
