FMS Delhi MBA Admission Process Overview

The FMS Delhi provides an MBA program that is full-time in nature and lasts for two years. The admission procedure mainly takes into consideration the CAT 2025 results, then academics and the selection procedure of the college. Students are shortlisted for the interview round on the basis of weighted CAT results and the final selection is done on the basis of CAT results, Class 10 and 12 results, SOP, extempore and PI.

The two-year MBA program is designed in such a way that it makes the students capable of building their careers in the field of management by acquiring strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

This program aims to impart effective business practices among the students to help them work efficiently in different sectors, while ensuring innovation and value creation for society. Eligibility Criteria for the FMS Delhi MBA Program

• Candidates should be graduates, having completed 10+2 education and obtaining at least 50% aggregate marks in the general category. The candidates of SC/ST should clear their qualifying exam, whereas the minimum aggregate marks required for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, PwD and CW candidates are 45% according to the university guidelines.

• The candidates who are pursuing the final year of their bachelor's degree can also apply if they fulfil the eligibility criteria at the time of admission.

• Those candidates who get a CGPA in place of percentage marks have to provide a certificate for the conversion of CGPA into percentage marks.

Interview Shortlisting Process

To ensure diversity with respect to gender and educational background, FMS employs a weighted formula based on CAT 2025 sectional scores at the time of shortlisting through interviews and making the admission decision. This composite score is computed taking 40 percent weight of VARC (Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension), 30 percent of DILR (Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning) and 30 percent of QA (Quantitative Ability) according to CAT 2025 sectional scores obtained from the CAT Center. Female applicants have an additional 5 points in the weighted score at the time of shortlisting for interviews.

Those who have been short-listed for the interviews are selected for admission in the Full Time MBA Program, taking into account the criteria for selection laid down by the institute. This list is prepared taking into account the performance of the candidates on the admission parameters.

Note- The women candidates who go through the interview process get an extra 5 marks as part of the selection procedure. But it is necessary that those candidates who appear for CAT 2025 will be considered for admission into the course and any application without CAT 2025 marks will not be considered.

• You need to visit the official website of FMS Delhi and enter the MBA admission portal.

• Registration can be done through the portal by entering all the necessary details in the online form.

• It is important to check the details before submission, as once it is submitted, no changes can be made to the registration form.

• Further, go to the online payment gateway and pay the registration fees.

• Candidates from the General, OBC and EWS categories will have to pay the fee of ₹1000, while ₹350 will be paid by the SC/ST/PwD candidates.
