The scholarship winners received their awards at the headquarters of the Adani Group in Ahmedabad. The ceremony was led by Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone and Director of Adani Cement.

Commitment to Inclusive Leadership

The Adani Group has said that the scholarships are a part of its pledge to inclusive leadership and nation-building. The AALP Scholarship is aimed at helping meritorious management students who may not have access to the program due to financial limitations. The company said that the selection of scholars is made after a rigorous process that considers both academic and financial needs, so that meritorious students can attain their objectives despite their background.

Nurturing Talent and Opportunity

Speaking to the gathering of scholars and their families, Karan Adani began by saying that the scholarship program is more than a source of funding. He said that talent is ubiquitous, but opportunities are not always equal. He said that the students chosen for the scholarship have strived to reach their current level of achievement after competing at a national level and on the basis of merit. He said that the Adani Group will provide them with opportunities, exposure and guidance to enable them to shape the future of India.

Diverse Group of Future Leaders

The 2025-27 scholarship group is a reflection of the diversity and quality of future leaders in the Indian business community. The group includes Anand Babu Kamineni, an MBA student at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, who was in the top 0.1% in major national exams such as JEE, CAT and UPSC. His background, which is from a small village in Andhra Pradesh, is a reflection of how opportunity can help talented people reach their objectives.

Ayush Srivastava, from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, has trained over 500 engineers and has led large-scale technology transitions in European offshore oil and gas projects.

The cohort also comprises Madhu Gupta of IIM Calcutta, who is recognised for his experience in managing large operations teams with high safety standards and Kanav Bansal, who has contributed to improved systems and financial performance in early projects.

Going Beyond Financial Support

In addition to financial support for education, the AALP initiative provides students with industry exposure, mentorship, and practical experience through large-scale infrastructure and business projects. This enables students to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical work environment.

Creating a Pipeline for India’s Development

According to the Adani Group, better collaboration between industry and academic institutions is required to build future leaders as India advances. The Adani Group, through AALP, hopes to develop well-rounded and competent professionals through excellence and opportunity.

The scholarships offered in 2025-27 reflect the growing reach of AALP as a platform that promotes ambition and translates success at the individual level into progress at the national level.
