Xavier School of Management has started its 2026 - 28 academic session with 441 students from diverse academic, professional, and cultural backgrounds. The new batch attended an induction ceremony held at the Tata Auditorium on campus.

XLRI Welcomes 441 Students to the 2026–2028 Cohort - Check Details

The induction program familiarised students with XLRI's strong values and academic environment. Welcoming the new batch and their parents, Dr (Fr) Sebastian George, SJ, Director of XLRI, encouraged them to pursue their management journey with curiosity, compassion and teamwork.

He highlighted that true leadership is based on trust, empathy and growth together. He also said that progress comes from cooperation and shared goals, motivating students to become value-based leaders who continue XLRI's tradition.

Dr Sanjay Patro, Dean of Academics, said the induction marks an important milestone and the start of big aspirations. He encouraged students to follow the Jesuit principle of magis, which motivates them to aim for excellence and serve others with dedication.
