IIM Jammu and Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar have signed an MoU to develop a long-term strategic partnership focused on multidisciplinary education, research collaboration, executive education, innovation, entrepreneurship and institutional development in line with the National Education Policy 2020.

Prof B S Sahay from IIM Jammu and Prof Binod Kumar Kanaujia from NIT Jalandhar signed the MoU in the presence of key officials, faculty members and delegates from both institutes.
Under this partnership, the two institutions will collaborate in academic collaboration, research collaborations, consultancy, faculty exchange, student exchange programs, joint teaching and academic credit transfers under the NEP 2020 scheme. Both institutions also aim to conduct Executive Education Programs and MDPs for industries and government organisations. Other potential collaborations in the form of academic programs conducted jointly by the two institutions will also be considered depending on the approvals required.
Speaking on the events, Professor B S Sahay pointed out that this partnership will facilitate multidisciplinary education through management expertise and technological innovations, creating new opportunities for students, researchers and industries.
According to Prof Binod Kumar Kanaujia, the MoU is the start of an effective association between two premier national institutions. He further said that the partnership would lead to research involving various disciplines and innovation based on technology. The partnership would help solve the challenges faced by society and industries through collective effort.
