The deadline to submit the SOP form is 7 PM on February 4. Submission of the SOP form is a requirement to be eligible for the selection process. After this, XLRI will open the GD-PI slot booking process for candidates.

Candidates are required to select their slots for the interviews of the BM and HRM courses. Slot booking for the PGDM GM course has already begun. Although the GM course interviews are conducted online, candidates applying for the BM and HRM courses are required to appear for the interviews as per the slots they select.

The candidates are required to answer three questions in the SOP. These questions are related to the chosen program. The questions include personality traits, experiences and weaknesses. Candidates applying for both the BM and HRM programs will have different SOPs. Only the BM panel will be able to view the BM SOP, and only the HRM panel will be able to view the HRM SOP. It is essential that the answers to the questions in the SOP are consistent with what the candidate states during the interview. The panel will have the SOP in front of them.

The assessment day at XLRI includes the WAT, GD and PI processes. The WAT and GD are based on the same topic. The candidates are required to write on the topic in 15-20 minutes. The Group Discussion typically consists of eight candidates and three panellists.
