On 10 July registration opened. The deadline was originally set for 5 Dec however it has been extended till 11 Dec. On 4 Jan 2026 the XAT exam will take place in roughly 109 cities. Your Exam centre will be assigned based on the cities chosen by you in the form. You can select up to six cities. The exact details of the test centre will be mentioned in the admit card which will be released on 20 Dec 2025.

Ways to Apply for XAT 2026?

Make sure your form is submitted and the fee is paid before the deadline. Following is the step-by-step process -

• Click on Registration

• Kindly enter your basic details and CAPTCHA.

• Use the link that was sent to your email to confirm your account.

• Login and access the 2026 XAT dashboard.

• Select the Application Form.

• Enter your professional, academic and personal information.

• Upload your photo, signature and valid photo ID

• Choose test cities

• Pay the application fee

The application fee is ₹2200. If you apply for an XLRI program you have to pay an extra ₹200. You can use a credit card, debit card or net banking to pay the cost. It is non-refundable.
