XAT 2026 Application Process – Step by Step

The whole application process is online. Here's the process of registration:

  1. Go to official website – xatonline.in

  2. Click on 'Registration 2026'

  3. Insert your name, mobile number, email ID, password and captcha.

  4. You will receive XAT ID and a confirmation link at your email address.

  5. Click the link to activate the account and access the dashboard.

  6. Enter your personal, academic and work experience information.

  7. Upload the necessary files, which include a passport-size photo, a valid ID and a signature.

  8. Choose the XLRI program or programs and pick your test cities (optional).

  9. Check the form, sign the declaration

  10. Remit the application fee to finalise the process.

  • If you have already registered for XAT use your previous login details.

Details of the XAT 2026 Exam

  • The exam is scheduled for January 4, 2026 between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m.

  • The pattern and syllabus of the exam are the same, hence the candidates can prepare using last year's format.
