XAT 2026 Mock Test: No Negative Marks for GK Section, 0.10 Penalty After 8 Unanswered Questions

By October 26, 2025, students can sign up on the official website to take the practice exam.
Pattern of the Exam
There are four main sections of the XAT 2026 mock exam:
Logical reasoning and verbal ability (VALR).
Quantitative aptitude, data interpretation (QA& DI)
Knowledge in general (GK)
Decision-making (DM)
The total test duration would be three hours. For each right response you receive one mark, and for each wrong response, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
Vital Note
The GK section will not be awarded any negative marks. A penalty of 0.10 marks for each question that is left blank will be imposed, however after 8 unanswered questions.
More than 250 top B-Schools in India admit XAT 2026 scores and the test is conducted in more than 100 cities.
As per XLRI the mock test is designed to make students familiarise themselves with the examination pattern and acquire confidence prior to the real exam. It is conducted in the same pattern and timing as the real XAT exam so that the students can prepare accordingly.
