Candidates who have registered for 2026 XAT can take part in the mock test to get a feel of the real exam. Registration for the mock test is open until 16 November on the official website xatonline.in

XLRI will also provide an application correction window for registered candidates from 9 am on 25 to 27 November 2025. In this period candidates can make changes in the details submitted such as personal information, academic qualifications, work experience and preferred exam cities. However phone numbers and email addresses cannot be updated.

Candidates are cautioned that during this period all details shall be carefully checked by them as no change shall be allowed after 27 November. Those who apply early will have more time to make corrections if needed.

The XAT Mock Test 2026 will help the candidate to prepare for XAT and other management entrance tests. According to Rahul Shula the XAT convenor at XLRI Jamshedpur the positive response from students to earlier mock tests encouraged the institute to organise this final one. He added that these mock tests are designed to give students a real exam like experience and help them evaluate their readiness.

The 2026 XAT mock test will follow the same pattern as the actual exam and include sections on Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, Decision Making and Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation.

The test duration will be of three hours. One mark will be awarded for each right response and 0.25 marks will be subtracted for each incorrect response.  There will be no negative marking in the General Knowledge section but 0.10 marks will be cut for each unattempted question beyond eight skipped ones.
