WinZO collaborates with IIMs and FMS to develop global technology talent
The BOSS program focuses on preparing leaders of consumer technology and digital innovation. It assists in bridging classroom learning and real-world application and prepares students to develop technology and intellectual property that can compete on a global level.
As a part of WinZO's Global Center of Excellence developed in collaboration with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) the program bridges India's brightest students with WinZO's 200+ member team, providing mentorship, industry exposure and a robust platform for collaboration between academia and industry.
Highlights of the 2025 Edition
This year's BOSS featured cutting-edge solutions in sectors like GenAI applications, globalization strategies, monetization models and formats based on Indian culture but scalable globally. The winning teams will have access to scholarships, internships, mentorship programs and global exchange opportunities with leading global universities.
Building India's Tech Exports
WinZO possesses more than 100 technology patents in domains such as live streaming, real-time game engines, AI-powered cybersecurity and GenAI-powered solutions. With expanding business in India, Brazil and the U.S. the company is committed to establishing India as a world hub for digital innovation.
Co-founder Paavan Nanda pointed out that WinZO has invested the most in people and their minds. The next tremendous leap in consumer technology will be fueled not merely by products but by those exceptional minds behind them, he added.
Academic Support
Professors from IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Lucknow and FMS Delhi have welcomed the move as a positive step in equipping students with skills for facing challenges in real life and making India a generator of intellectual property.
For WinZO, the greatest asset is talent. From patents and international growth to new forays into short-drama entertainment the company depends on the abilities and creativity of its workforce. Initiatives such as BOSS and the Bharat Tech Triumph Program (BTTP) indicate that India's young talent is poised to compete globally.
