Eligibility

The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in the essential disciplines of civil/mechanical/electrical, or the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in Architecture with a CGPA of 6.5/10 or 60% for general, OBC, EWS categories, while the candidate must hold a CGPA of 6.0/10 or 55% in case of SC, ST and PwD candidates.

Selection Methodology

The applications will be filtered for eligibility as per the minimum academic and professional qualifications. The list containing the eligible applicants will be posted on the official site of VNIT. The VMAT will be conducted on the eligible applicants in the offline mode as part of a 100-mark entrance test consisting of a 60-mark written test in the MCQ format and a 40-mark personal interview.

The test will include questions from engineering mechanics, solid mechanics, engineering drawing, project planning and management, engineering economy and aptitude-based sections. Performance in the MCQ test followed by an interview shall be used to select candidates.

The course fee is Rs. 1 lakh per semester, totaling 4 lakhs.

• Applications shall be submitted online only at https://vnit.ac.in/mba-acm/ on or before February 13, 2026. 

• A hardcopy of the application must be brought personally or by registered /speed post to the Institute.

• When you are done completing your online application form, you are required to print the document along with the other documents you uploaded.

• The printed application form, proof of payment of the ₹3,540 application fee, and all supporting documents must reach the Academic Section, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, by February 20, 2026. The envelope should be clearly labeled “Application for Admission to MBA in Advanced Construction Management.”
