The candidates who have a valid score in the management entrance exams like CAT, XAT and MAT are eligible to apply for admission in the MBA course in the VIT Business School. However, the candidates who do not have a valid score in the above exams are required to appear in the VITBEE entrance exam. The last date to apply for the VIT MBA 2026 Admission is 12th April 2026. The VITBEE Exam Date is 3rd May 2026.
The selection of candidates for admission to the MBA course in VIT is based on the MBA Selection Criteria. Candidates who have a high score can also get admission to the MBA course in VIT.

VIT MBA 2026 MBA Admission Eligibility
Before applying for the VIT MBA 2026 program the applicants need to satisfy the MBA admission eligibility criteria as follows -
Qualifying Degree - The applicants must have completed their Bachelor's degree from any recognised university or institution.
Minimum Marks - The applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. A Tuition Fee Waiver of 10% relaxation in marks is available to the applicants belonging to the following categories -
SC/ST Categories
Candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir
Candidates belonging to Ladakh
Candidates belonging to the North-Eastern States
Work Experience - Work experience is not required for admission to the MBA course at VIT Business School. On the other hand, candidates who have prior job experience have an edge when it comes to the MBA selection criterion.
VIT MBA 2026 Entrance Exams Accepted
VIT Vellore MBA selects the applicants on the basis of their scores in the following Management Entrance Exams -
VITBEE - The entrance test is conducted by the university for the applicants who have not attempted any other national-level management entrance exam.
CAT - The applicants who have high CAT Cutoff VIT scores will be given priority.
NMAT VIT Admission - The applicants who have valid NMAT scores can apply.
Candidates with high CAT Cutoff VIT scores will be given priority and may be considered for early admission to the VIT Business School MBA program.
