According to the information provided by the university the total number of seats available in the MBA course offered by the university for the 2026-28 batch is 75. The last date for applying is January 31, 2026 and the list for the GD and PI round will be announced separately.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the candidates are that they should have appeared for 2025 CAT, 2025 MAT or 2026 CMAT and they should have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

According to the latest placement brochure of the University of Hyderabad MBA batch female students form 54.16% of the batch. Male students make up the remaining 45.84%.

The overall undergraduate academic profile of the students indicates a diverse range of streams. The largest number of students belong to the commerce stream comprising 30.5% of the batch followed by science students at 20.8% and engineering students at 16.7%. Students belonging to arts streams comprise 11.2% of the batch, whereas those with a management education background comprise 6.9% of the students.
