The New Executive Campus of IIM Bodh Gaya in Bihta Opens to Develop Future Leaders

In Bihta, Patna the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya has started building a new campus for professional and executive education. The Satellite Executive Education Campus's foundation was laid in July by Dr. Vinita S. Sahay, Director; Shri Sandeep Ghose Board Member; and Shri L. Ramkumar Board Chairperson.

The New Executive Campus of IIM Bodh Gaya in Bihta Opens to Develop Future Leaders

Management Development Programs (MDPs), Executive MBAs and Executive Ph.D. programs will be available at the Bihta campus. It aims to educate working professionals, top leaders and government officials belonging to Bihar and other states. Certificate courses will also be run through joint collaborations with IIT Patna, AIIMS Patna and NIFT Patna to foster cross-disciplinary learning and skills development.

In order to train public administration and grassroots governance professionals, IIM Bodh Gaya has inked MoU with a number of government ministries (including Water Resources, Transport, Industries, BAMETI, IGIMS Patna and the Panchayati Raj Ministry). More than 8,100 individuals have already received training from the institute in 2025 through 125 executive sessions, which include leadership development for BPSC officials, Bihar Police, State Fire Department staff and Panchayati Raj members.

With its new campus, IIM Bodh Gaya aims to be a national centre for executive and professional education, connecting academia, the government and industry to develop talented and socially oriented leaders for tomorrow.
