SNAP 2025 Exam: Dates, Registration, CutOff & More
SNAP is conducted by SIU as a common written test for the admission to all the MBA and PGDM program of the 17 institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). The test contains 60 multiple-choice questions and is divided into three parts:
General English
Analytical & Logical Reasoning
Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency
The test is administered at centres using a computer. A candidate may take the test up to three times in 2025 and the Institution will consider the highest score of any of the three.
Significant Highlights of SNAP Exam 2025
SNAP Test (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is a national level test which is conducted by the Symbiosis International University (SIU) for the admissions in the PGDM and MBA programs. SNAP 2025 will be an internet based test in English with 60 questions on Quant, English and Logical Reasoning to be answered in 60 minutes.

The SNAP Test 2025 is the entrance exam for MBA and masters courses in management offered by colleges of Symbiosis International University (SIU) in India. From regular MBA programmes to niche areas (Sports Management, Healthcare, IT, Digital Transformation, Agri-Business etc), many Symbiosis institutions based out of Pune, Bengaluru, Nagpur, Noida, Telangana and Nashik accept SNAP scores.
SNAP Eligibility Criteria for 2025
The majority of SIU University's MBA and PGDM programmes require a bachelor's degree with at least 50% (45% for SC/ST students).
Certain specialised MBAs have additional requirements:
SIIB (Energy & Environment): B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc. (Environmental Science) or B.Arch. with 50% marks.
SIMS: Wives and children of military personnel are eligible to apply for the Defence category.
SCMHRD - Infrastructure: Graduation in B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch./B.Plan. with 50% marks (45% SC/ST) + 1 year work experience.
SCMHRD-Business Analytics: 50% graduation (45% SC/ST) plus two years of work experience.
SSCANS - Food Tech & Enterprise Management: Graduation in food/agri/related streams with 50% (45% SC/ST).

The SNAP test is the gateway to secure admission in elite Symbiosis colleges in India. Right from Pune and Bengaluru to Nagpur, Noida and Telangana a number of Symbiosis colleges take SNAP scores for their MBA and other management courses.
SNAP 2025 Exam Pattern
About an hour is allotted for the 60 multiple-choice questions on the SNAP 2025 exam. Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, General English and Quantitative and Logical & Analytical Reasoning are its three sections.
Note: A 25% deduction will be applied for each incorrect response.

SNAP Exam Detail for 2025 Registration
The SNAP 2025 registration began on 1st August 2025 and will conclude on 20th November 2025. Admit cards will be available from 28th November 2025 for test 1, from 8th December 2025 for test 2 and from 15th December 2025 for test 3. The test is taken in three sessions. The results will be announced on the 9th of January 2026.
Application Fee: ₹2,250 per attempt
Program Fee: ₹1,000 per program/college
Payment Methods: Billdesk, Indian Bank, Easebuzz or Demand Draft
Documents to be submitted: ID proof, educational documents (10th, 12th, graduation), scanned photograph, scanned signature, mobile number and email ID.

Click on Register and enter personal, academic and contact information.
Select exam date, city and number of attempts (each attempt is with a different fee).
Upload your most recent passport-sized photo along with your signature.
Pay the exam fee (₹2,250 per attempt) online.
Choose SIU institutes/programs of preference (₹1,000 per program).

Ways to Download SNAP 2025 Admit Card:
Go to snaptest.org.
To log in, enter your SNAP ID and password.
By choosing the admission card option, you can download it.
Take your admit card to the testing location. Entering the exam room without it is not permitted.
SNAP Exam Day Guidelines:
Bring only the admit card and ID proof (no phone, calculator, smartwatch, bag etc).
Arrive early at the centre and try to spot it a day before.
Biometric check-in is compulsory.
Sit only in your designated seat.
Your admission card will be signed by the exam invigilator.
Answer Key & Result for SNAP 2025
On January 9, 2026, the results of the SNAP 2025 exam will be released. Scorecards for all three sessions will be available online on the same day and the best score will be considered by SIU if candidates appear in more than one session.

SNAP 2025 Admission Process
Admission to SIU colleges via SNAP has two significant steps after the exam:
1. Group Exercise (GE):
In the initial half candidates complete a puzzle in groups to evaluate teamwork and problem-solving. In the second half, teams debate a topic provided to them and give their ideas, which evaluates communication, clarity of thought and leadership.
2. Personal Interaction (PI):
This is a one-to-one interview wherein candidates are questioned regarding their objectives, reasons for pursuing MBA, strengths and leadership abilities. Confidence, communication skills and problem-solving capacity are the areas of focus.
Final Selection
The merit list is prepared by merging SNAP exam scores with GE and PI scores.

No, SNAP is administered once a year but in three sessions in December. You have the option to attend all or just one of the SNAP exam sessions.
Not exactly. CAT is difficult because it has more difficult questions and no pattern to follow. SNAP is easier but it requires speed and accuracy because it has only 60 questions to be solved in 60 minutes.
