SNAP 2025 Selection Process: GE-PI Rounds & Admission Criteria
The SNAP test score is the primary requirement to get admission to the MBA programs offered by Symbiosis International Deemed University (SIU). For the present year the admission will be in three rounds involving SNAP 2025 test score, Group Exercise and Personal Interaction.
December 6, 14 and 21, 2025 are the SNAP exam dates for the year 2025. Online registrations are already open. Individuals who want to seek admission to MBA in SIBM Pune, SCMHRD Pune or any other SIU college need to appear for SNAP because such institutes do not accept marks of any other entrance exam.
Early January 2026 will see the announcement of the SNAP 2025 results. The second or third week of January 2026 will see the shortlisting process for GE and PI at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Pune, Symbiosis Centre for Management & Human Resource Development Pune and other SIU colleges. In February 2026 the GE and PI rounds will take place.
Key Facts Regarding SNAP 2025 Selection
Candidates will have to select their choice of SIU institutes and MBA courses while submitting the SNAP 2025 application form.
A registration fee of INR 1,000 per institute will have to be paid.
Applications for SIU institutes won't be considered after SNAP registration.
Each institute will have its own separate admission procedure.
Calls for GE and PI will be made based on the cut-off percentile as determined by each institute.

The academic record of a candidate can also be taken into account while doing PI shortlisting.

SNAP Exam 2025 Admission Process Step-by-Step
SNAP Exam – First candidates sit for the SNAP 2025 exam.
Shortlisting – Institutes shortlist the candidates on the basis of SNAP scores and cut-offs.
GE-PI Rounds – The shortlisted applicants are invited to participate in personal interaction and group exercises. They will be informed about the schedule and venue via email. Candidates who fail to attend these rounds will not be considered for admission.
What is Group Exercise (GE)?
A group exercise is a conversation that takes place in a group. 8–10 candidates are put into a group and provided a case on Marketing, HR, Finance or Operations. They are provided with 20 minutes to discuss and present solutions.
What is Personal Interaction (PI)?
Personal Interaction is a personal interview with a panel of academic and industry professionals. Questions can be on the reasons for doing an MBA, career aspirations, hobbies and overall awareness.

Note: The composite score is used to prepare the final merit list and accordingly admission offers are made.
The cut-offs category-wise for the waitlist and merit list will be announced on the websites of the respective SIU institutes. Waitlist movement will be based on the number of seats available that are unfilled.
The SNAP 2025 score shall be applicable for admission to SIU programs only for the 2026–27 academic year.
Admission would be finalised only when the candidate remits the fee within the given timeline and complies with the eligibility norms of the selected program as per SIU regulations.
