Eligibility Requirements for the SET Exam 2026
Students must have graduated from a recognised board with a Class 12 diploma or its equivalent.
Students must have at least 50 percent aggregate in Class 12.
Students in the SC/ST category will receive a 5 percent relaxation meaning they must have at least a 45 percent aggregate in Class 12.
Students in Class 12 or those awaiting results may also submit a provisional application for the SET exam.
Students who have earned an equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities and completed Class 12 or its equivalent from any foreign board are also qualified.
How Can I Apply for SET 2026?
Access the official website for the SET exam.
Fill personal and communication information and use an OTP to validate the first step of the SET application procedure.
After that, students will get their SET ID and password by email and SMS.
As directed pay the ₹2250 application fee.
Select the test city, institute and upload the necessary documents to finish Part two of the SET exam registration procedure.
After paying the institute cost of ₹1000 print the SET application.
