"From Backup to Backbone - Driving the Energy Shift" is this year's topic. It emphasises decarbonisation, the shift to renewable energy and changing consumer demands. Participants will be asked to design innovative solutions like renewable integration, grid connected services and other sustainable energy models.
Anupama Kaul who is the Human Resource Leader at Cummins India said the competition gives students a chance to think deeply, come up with creative ideas and present solutions that can make the energy value chain stronger.
