QS Global MBA Rankings 2026: IIM Bangalore Cracks Top 52! 14 Indian B-Schools Dominate Global Top 100

IIM Indore has seen its ranking improve to enter the 151-200 group while Woxsen School of Business has entered for the first time this year. This overall improvement is led by improved scores in employability, return on investment and thought leadership metrics. This year a number of institutes made their debut in the rankings including Goa Institute of Management in the 101+ range, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) in the 76-100 range and IIM Kozhikode in the 53rd position. Six Indian business schools appeared in the top 100 of the worlds best under the employability ranking. IIM Bangalore came at number 17th IIM Calcutta came at number 22nd IIM Ahmedabad came at number 29th IIM Lucknow came at number 66th IIM Indore at number 92nd IIM Kozhikode at shared joint 95th place. Four of the 14 Indian business schools improved their standing one remained stable and seven dropped a little from last year. IIM Bangalore - 52 from 53 IIM Ahmedabad - 58 up from 65 IIM Calcutta - 64 up from 65 IIM Indore - 151-200 up from 201-250 IIM Kozhikode - 201-250 improved from 151-200 IIM Lucknow - 201-250 similar to previous year Woxsen School of Business - 201-250 new entry IIM Udaipur, XLRI, IMT Ghaziabad, IMI Kolkata, MDI Gurgaon, Somaiya Vidyavihar University - dropped to lower bands or 301+ This year, India had 37 entries across five specialised master’s categories: 19 in Master’s in Management 7 in Master’s in Finance 5 in Master’s in Business Analytics 4 in Master’s in Marketing 2 in Master’s in Supply Chain Management IIM Calcutta’s Business Analytics program ranked in the 81-90 range. IIM Udaipur (91-100) and Woxsen School of Business (101+) featured in the Supply Chain Management category. Interestingly none of the seven Indian Master’s in Finance programs made it to the global top 200 this year. However three institutes improved under Master’s in Management: IIM Bangalore rose to 30th IIM Ahmedabad jumped eight places to 48th IIM Kozhikode moved to the 141-150 range This shows India’s growing presence in global management education with consistent improvement by its leading B-schools.QS Master’s in Management 2026 Rankings
