On September 11, Dharmendra Pradhan will officially open the IIM Ahmedabad campus in Dubai

The Government of India Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will visit the United Arab Emirates on official business on September 10–11, 2025. Following a Ministry of Education press release the two day visit aims to deepen bilateral educational cooperation, foster academic excellence and innovation and pursue new partnership opportunities to achieve the aspirations of both countries students and teens.

On September 11, Dharmendra Pradhan will officially open the IIM Ahmedabad campus in Dubai

During his visit Pradhan will interact with top UAE leaders, ministers, policymakers, academics and officials from Indian and UAE institutions to develop partnerships in education, innovation and knowledge exchange, the announcement said.

Pradhan will also meet with H.E. Ms. Sara Musallam the chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, on September 10, 2025. In addition to launching the PhD and B.Tech programs he will visit the IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi Campus to announce the Atal Incubation Centre. The minister will engage with academics and students.

He will subsequently go to the BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi and witness the launching of Symbiosis University's Dubai Campus.

The minister will be present on 11th September, 2025 at the inauguration of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Dubai Campus in the company of his counterpart, H.E. Dr Abdulrahman Al Awar UAE Minister of Higher Education. During this event both the ministers will also elaborate on the education collaborations of the two nations that are ongoing. Later on he will go to a Round Table Conference of Indian Universities in the United Arab Emirates.

While in Dubai, the minister will visit with CBSE school principals at a Teachers' Day event launch Atal Tinkering Labs at Indian schools in the United Arab Emirates and take part in the consulate's Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam plantation program. He will engage with Dubai's Indian diaspora to wrap up his stay.
