The registration period for 2025 NMAT will begin on November 6 and end on December 16. In order to raise their scores candidates who have already taken the test may request for a second or third try.

NMAT 2025 Retake Registration Opens on 6 November

The primary 2025 NMAT test will take place in more than sixty Indian cities from November 5 to December 19. The test is conducted by GMAC which allows candidates to appear up to three times in one exam cycle.

Several top business schools such as NMIMS Mumbai, ISB, SPJIMR, XIMB, VIT, TAPMI and others accept NMAT scores for admission to their MBA and management programs.

NMAT 2025 Exam Pattern

The NMAT exam lasts 120 minutes and includes three sections -

  • Quantitative Skills portion will have 36 questions that need to be completed in 52 minutes

  • Language Skills portion will have 36 questions that need to be completed in 28 minutes

  • Logical Reasoning portion will have 36 questions that need to be completed in 40 minutes

There is no negative marking and candidates can choose the order of sections before starting the test.

How to Apply for NMAT Retake

  • After completing your first attempt log in to your NMAT account on mba.com to book a retake. 

  • You can check available slots, select your preferred test date and centre and pay the retake fee of ₹3000 plus GST through card, UPI or internet banking. 

  • Your new hall ticket can be downloaded soon after the payment is completed.

Score and Result Details

NMAT scores are released within 48 hours of the test on the candidate’s dashboard. The final score reports are sent to the chosen business schools within 3 to 4 weeks.

Popular test centres in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune get filled up fast while in smaller cities the slots are limited. Remember attempts must have a 15-day gap between them.

Candidates are advised to practice using the official mock tests on mba.com to identify weak areas. Last year over 70000 candidates took the NMAT exam and this year’s participation is expected to cross 80000.
