MAT Application Fees 2026

The application fee is ₹2,300 for the single test mode of either CBT or PBT. The candidates who wish to appear in both tests need to pay ₹4,000

MAT Registration 2026: Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university can register for the MAT 2026 May session exam. The final year students and students who are waiting for the results of their graduation can also register for the exam. There is no maximum age restriction for appearing in the MAT conducted by the All India Management Association.

Although work experience is not necessary for candidates to appear in the MAT exam, work experience may be considered an advantage for students who want to get admission in the MBA course.

MAT 2026 Exam Pattern

The MAT 2026 exam has five sections. Each section consists of 30 questions. The total number of questions in the exam is 150. The students get 120 minutes to complete the exam.

According to the exam’s marking scheme, candidates receive 1 mark for every correct answer, while 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect response.

During the application process, candidates have to select their five preferred institutes. On the basis of the MAT cut-off score, candidates will be selected to appear for further selection processes like Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
