Three official CAP rounds are normally conducted consecutively. If there are vacant college seats, additional spot rounds will be organized. Generally, it takes two months, but last time it was just a few days. Registration for the MAH MBA CET CAP round is the first step in the process, and the merit list is then made public. Once the merit list is published, students are able to complete their preference of college, depending on where they are allotted. If they are allotted their first choice, they cannot sit in subsequent rounds. Those who don't receive their first choice can sit in the next CAP round and float their allocation.
