Indian B-Schools Shine on the Global Stage
The Indian School of Business (ISB) with Hyderabad and Mohali campuses has been ranked again as India's No. 1 MBA school and jumped to the 5th rank globally from the 6th rank a year ago. The majority of ISB graduates become product managers, program managers, and management consultants and the top career destinations for them are Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai. Key skills of ISB alumni include growth strategy, product vision and user research.
After ISB, IIM Calcutta placed 2nd in India and 16th globally and IIM Ahmedabad ranked 3rd in India and 17th globally up from 19th in previous year. IIM Bangalore took 4th position in India and 20th internationally for the first time into the global top 20.
Some other Indian schools on the list are IIM Lucknow (5th in India & 26th globally), IIM Indore (6th in India & also 26th globally) and IIFT (7th in India & 50th globally).
Global Leaders Continue to Dominate
Globally, Stanford University held on to the top spot followed by Harvard University (2nd), INSEAD (3rd) and the University of Pennsylvania (4th).
A total of seven Indian B-schools featured in LinkedIn’s global list proving India’s growing influence in shaping future business leaders and its strong presence in global management education.
