Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association releases the eligibility criteria for KMAT for admission to the MBA and PGDM programs. To apply for the MBA and PGDM postgraduate courses students need to fulfil all the eligibility criteria regarding educational qualification, minimum marks, nationality and age. Students planning to take the KMAT exam have to follow the eligibility rules given below -
KMAT Eligibility Criteria for MBA and PGDM Programs
The candidates need to have a bachelor degree of at least three years from a reputed institute or college.
They need a score of 50 in their graduation.
SC and ST candidates must have 45 percent aggregate marks in all subjects in their final year.
Students who are in the final year of their degree may apply as well.
Candidates from any reputed university who have earned a master degree in business, management, the arts, social sciences, engineering or technology are also eligible.
Karnataka Domicile Requirements for KMAT
All Indian nationals are eligible for the exam as their locality status or residential address does not affect eligibility.
Earlier as per KPPGCA previous rules only candidates residing in Karnataka were allowed to apply. However this domicile restriction has now been removed.
The KMAT is open to every eligible candidate across the country no matter where they live.
