The 2025 KMAT was conducted online for the admissions to MBA and PGDM courses in the state. The Karnataka Management Aptitude Test had two sessions and the results are out online using the KMAT login credentials.

The Karnataka Management Aptitude Test or KMAT in short is a major MBA entrance exam in karnataka organised every year by the Karnataka Post Graduate Private Colleges' Association. Karnataka MAT is a path to admission in various private universities and colleges of the state offering different courses in MBA and PGDM.

The 2025 KMAT exam took place online in a two hour remotely managed format. The KMAT exam date for session one was 7 September while the KMAT exam session two was 25 October. On October 22 the second session KMAT admit card was made available.

The KMAT 2025 registration period began on September 16 and the KMAT 2025 application last date was October 15. Students could fill out the KMAT application form 2025 online at the KMAT official website

The KMAT 2025 result for session one was declared on 23 September 2025. Candidates who appeared for both sessions could access their results through the KMAT login portal.

KMAT Exam Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the KMAT exam candidates must - 

  • Hold a bachelor degree of minimum three years or a master degree in any field such as commerce, management, arts, social sciences or engineering from a recognised university.

  • Have at least 50 percent marks and 45 percent for SC and ST students.

  • Final-year students can also apply.

These rules apply to KMAT Karnataka 2025 and other related versions of the test.

Students can fill out the KMAT application on the KMAT official website.
Steps include - 

  1. After going to the official website select the KMAT registration tab.

  2. Make a profile and complete the application for the 2025 KMAT.

  3. Once on the website page select the KMAT registration tab.

  4. Make a profile and complete the 2025 KMAT application.

  5. Upload your photo and documents in scanned form.

  6. To pay the KMAT registration fee online, use UPI or internet banking with a debit or credit card.

Applications for the second session of the KMAT were due on 15 Oct 2025.

KMAT Exam Structure and Syllabus

The KMAT exam Syllabus is divided into three sections – 

  1. Verbal Ability will have forty questions 

  2. Quantitative Ability will have forty questions 

  3. Logical Reasoning will have forty questions 

There are 120 multiple choice questions and the total duration is two hours. There is no negative marking.

The 2025 KMAT hall ticket was made public online. Students could download it using their KMAT login details. The admit card includes exam slot, reporting time and other details.

The KMAT 2025 results were made available online by KMAT India. Applicants can check their Karnataka KMAT results by using their Number of application and DOB.

Participating colleges will issue individual cutoffs after the KMAT exam for admission processes such as Group Discussions and Personal Interviews.
