The Karnataka Management Aptitude Test is a key MBA entrance exam for top management colleges across Karnataka. Earlier candidates had to visit assigned KMAT Exam Centres in different cities to take the test. However from 2025 onwards the format has changed now you can take the exam from home through a Remote Proctored Internet-Based Test (IBT) system.

This new method allows test-takers to appear for the exam online from home using a computer, webcam and a stable internet connection. The Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges’ Association introduced this mode to make the process smoother and more flexible. Candidates can now easily attend the KMAT Karnataka exam centre 2025 test from their own homes.

Earlier KMAT Exam Centre Details

Till this change KMAT was held in multiple offline KMAT 2026 Exam Centres located in Karnataka. Applicants were allowed to choose one preferred location at the time of filling the application form and their admit card carried the details related to the KMAT exam centre 2025 assigned to them. Following is a list of previously used KMAT Test Centres across 10 major KMAT Test Cities in Karnataka.

These were part of the official state wise test centre list released by KPPGCA each year for the exam.

How the KMAT Remote Proctored Test Works

• No need to travel - Candidates can take the KMAT exam centres 2026 test from home without visiting any centre.

• System setup - Use a desktop or laptop with a camera, mic and stable connection.

• Supervised test - Each session is monitored live by an online invigilator.

• Admit card - The KMAT Karnataka 2026 Exam Centres details will appear digitally on the admit card used for login verification.

Things to Do -

• Keep your KMAT hall ticket and valid photo ID ready.

• Sit in a quiet well lit space.

• Test your webcam and internet connection before starting.

Things to Avoid - 

• Don’t use mobile phones, headphones or other gadgets.

• Don’t switch windows or tabs.

• Avoid leaving your seat once the test begins.
