JNU ABVSME MBA Admission 2026; Registration to Close by May 15

The admission process at Jawaharlal Nehru University’s Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME) is expected to move into its next phase shortly with MBA registration likely to conclude by 15 May. The MBA application process for the current academic session began in the first week of April.

Officials said that the GD and PI rounds will start shortly as part of the upcoming admission phase. The overall process is expected to finish by the end of May end while academic sessions are likely to commence in the second week of July. 

As per the selection criteria, admission to the programme will be determined on the basis of CAT scores, group discussion and personal interview. The CAT score carries a weightage of 70 percent while group discussion and personal interview account for 10% and 20 percent respectively.

Officials further stated that applicants are required to pay an application fee during the registration process. The fee is ₹ 2000 for General, EWS and OBC candidates while SC  - ST and Divyang (differently abled) candidates need to pay ₹ 1000 through online payment modes.

The Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME) at Jawaharlal Nehru University began its first MBA batch in 2019. Alongside this the Atal Incubation Centre at JNU was set up to promote entrepreneurship and innovation through practical learning approaches.

Officials said these initiatives focus on hands on training, case studies and enterprise development in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
