JIPMAT 2026 Exam Clash With CUET and IIM Rohtak PI; Check Details

Multiple UG entrance exams and admission processes are overlapping in the first week of June. The National Testing Agency will conduct the JIPMAT exam on 7 June, which is required for IPM admissions at IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. At the same time, IIM Rohtak has scheduled its IPMAT Rohtak personal interviews on the same date, creating a scheduling conflict for candidates.

Getting admission into an IIM is very competitive, so many students apply for multiple exams like JIPMAT and IPMAT Rohtak as backup choices. However, the conflict between JIPMAT and IIM Rohtak PI may compel candidates to choose only one admission option.

In response to this situation, many applicants have started email campaigns to the IIM Rohtak admissions office requesting a rescheduling of their PI dates.

JIPMAT 2026 Exam Overlaps with CUET Schedule

Apart from the clash with the National Testing Agency JIPMAT and IIM Rohtak PI, the JIPMAT exam is also overlapping with the revised CUET schedule. The CUET dates have been changed to 31 May, 6 June and 7 June after shifting from the earlier 28 May slot.

Since the same agency conducts both CUET and JIPMAT, students are questioning the lack of coordination in exam planning. A similar scheduling issue also happened in 2023 when CUET and JIPMAT were originally planned on the same day, leading to a later change in CUET timing. So far, neither NTA nor IIM Rohtak has released any official update about postponement or changes to the 7 June schedule.
