This is aimed at saving time, eliminating paperwork and giving students a transparent, convenient process, according to the Office of the Controller of Examinations. With the new mechanism being put in place, the students will no longer have to physically come to offices or wait for weeks rather, they will be able to download their provisional certificates in minutes, anywhere and anytime says the JMI press release.

As per the new process, temporary certificates will be processed and released only via the Student Portal. Students will be able to apply online, pay the applicable fee and download certificates. 

The application fee is ₹300, which includes ₹250 for automation and ₹50 for the certificate.

Controller of Examinations JMI Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma said that this initiative will not just enhance the administrative efficiency but also ease the process to a great extent, ensuring that our students can obtain their documents from anywhere.
