According to the marking scheme a candidate will score four marks for a correct answer and one mark will be deducted for a wrong response. The total paper shall carry 400 marks.

The candidates with the IPMAT score will be called for a personal interview (PI) and a category-wise merit list will be created based on composite score (CS) and admission offers shall be made accordingly.

Shortlisted candidates have to go through a video evaluation round and submit a self-recorded video during a specified time period after the IPMAT results have been announced.  

Candidates will be provided with a list of questions for which they have to record videos and those failing to do so will be eliminated from the next round.

IPMAT Exam Pattern 2026

The 2026 IPMAT Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants willing to apply for the IPMAT 2026 test should have a minimum of 60% in the general category and 55% in the other categories on their Class 10+2 certificate or equivalent. According to the age requirements, general category applicants must be born after August 1, 2005 whereas other candidates who belong to the SC, ST and OBC categories must be born on or after August 1, 2000. The IPMAT test is conducted for entry into the 5-year integrated management course conducted by IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak and other management schools in the country.
