IIM Udaipur will cease to be part of the Common Admission Process which is overseen by the newer IIMs. By conducting its own admissions, IIM Udaipur will be able to:

  • Align admission standards with IIMU's educational objectives and international perspective.

  • Apply institute-specific standards to emphasise IIMU's unique strengths and values.

  •  Deliver a streamlined and candidate centred admissions process.

Candidates who take the CAT 2025 will be chosen based on the Institute's written ability test and personal interview shortlisting procedure for IIM Udaipur. These processes will be organised in major cities of India and on the campus of IIM Udaipur to provide equal opportunities to students from every region of the country.

Speaking about the choice Prof. Vijayta Doshi, Dean of Programs IIM Udaipur explained that within a span of just a decade IIM Udaipur has become a well established global and national name. As they strive to become a globally recognised management school it is essential that their admissions process upholds our academic values and intentions.
