According to the official notification candidates belonging to General, NC-OBC and EWS categories need to pay an application fee of ₹2400 while females, SC, ST and PwD category candidates need to pay ₹1200. The IIT Mandi MBA program application cost is $100 for candidates from SAARC countries and $200 for those from non-SAARC countries.

Criteria of Eligibility - IIT Mandi MBA 2026

For candidates seeking to pursue an MBA in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence there are the following requirements -

• Those attempting CAT 2025 with a valid score would require a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks while for SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates it would be 55%.

• Those who apply under the CAT exempt categories the required percentage is a minimum of 65 percent and 60 percent for SC/ST/OBC-NCL categories in their graduation qualifications obtained from a Centrally Funded Technical Institution or in the top 100 institutions of NIRF 2025.

• Foreign nationals and NRIs are required to have a valid score in GMAT 2025 and are eligible under the General Category.

• All applicants must have studied Mathematics in Class 12 and Final Year students are also eligible for applying.

• The MBA in Data Science & AI offered at IIT Mandi intends to equip students to take up a role in management within analytic industries.
