The program is open to fresh graduates and working professionals and focuses on developing sound conceptual bases in the early quarters, followed by core functional courses in Finance, Marketing, Operations, Human Resources & Organisational Behaviour, Information Systems and Integrative Management. Emphasising the need to highlight the importance of the distinct features of this MBA Program, Admissions Coordinator Prof. Prathamesh Vivek Kittur of DoMS IIT Madras, said that the MBA program at IIT Madras is designed to create competent and industry-ready managers through a comprehensive curriculum that combines management theory with practical application. Spread over seven quarters, the program comprises classroom sessions, case analysis, practical industry internships and projects, allowing students to emerge together with their counterparts from other top-notch business schools around the country.
Prof. Prathamesh Vivek Kittur further added that learning is also reinforced by an 8-10 week summer internship program following the fourth quarter and a capstone project in the final quarter, offering immense industry exposure.
