Working people who want to improve their management abilities without interfering with their professions are the main target audience for the EMBA. The course schedules are on alternate weekends giving the convenience of weekend classes.

The two year program focuses on experiential learning through three field-based capstone projects allowing students to apply classroom learning to address actual business problems. Through this hands-on process participants learn leadership, analytical and strategic decision making skills.

Eligibility and Admission Procedure

Applicants must possess the following in order to apply-

• At least 60% marks in their bachelor’s degree in any discipline

• Three years or more of job experience after graduation

On 8 and 9 November 2025 shortlisted candidates will be invited to the selection process on the campus of IIT Madras. WAT and PI are part of the process. The WAT will cover Business Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability. The final results will be declared by 2025 December and classes will begin in 2026 January.

According to IIT Madras the program aims to prepare mid-career professionals to lead modern organisations by combining academic learning with industry insights and practical experience.
