For Eligibility there is a requirement of having a minimum CAT percentage of 80 for EWS, General, OBC categories. SC, ST and PwD require a minimum 55 percent in the CAT 2025. Interviews for the IIT Kanpur MBA have been scheduled for 13-16 March 2026. The Group Discussion and Personal Interviews will take place in Noida and Kanpur. To apply one has to visit the IIT Kanpur website and proceed to the MBA Admission 2026 section. After going through the details they will have to register for a user account and create a user ID. After that applicants are supposed to provide personal and academic information, CAT 2025 score, preferred PI city and fee submission online.

The application cost for the 2026 MBA program at IIT Kanpur is not refundable. For the general category OBC-NCL and EWS candidates the application fee is ₹2000. For the SC, ST and PwD category candidates the amount is ₹1000.
