The awards were given by Uttarakhand Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan and Rajya Sabha MP Ramesh Pokhriyal. He is a former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and a former Union Education Minister.

Prof M. Chandrasekhar, director of IM Visakhapatnam said that getting three PRSI prizes in one year is a tall achievement by the institute. He said that this recognition shows IIM Vizag’s strong focus on skill development and effective communication. Prof Chandrasekhar congratulated the team for their professionalism and said the institute will make use of newer ways of communication to enhance its engagement with industry, academia and society.
