According to Abhishek Kumar Totawar, Chairperson of Placements, this year is significant for IIM Tiruchirappalli because our placement report was audited externally for the first time, demonstrating our dedication to accountability and openness.

The report highlighted strong recruiter engagement more than 150 organisations participated in summer placements, including 50 new recruiters across various sectors. The highest summer internship stipends were ₹3.5 lakh for PGPM students and ₹2 lakh for PGPM-HR students.

For final placements, 189 firms selected PGPM students, while 40 companies participated in the PGPM-HR program. The average CTC for PGPM and PGPM-HR students was ₹19 lakh and ₹17.84 lakh, respectively while the highest CTC for the PGPM-HR class was ₹33 lakh.

The sectors that saw high recruiter engagement were IT, consultancy, BFSI, FMCG, operations and the public sector.
