PGPBM which was initiated in 2012 is a 21-month MBA program designed for working professionals. The curriculum combines academic and practical learning, involving case discussions, simulation, peer learning and a capstone industrial project.

As per Pawan Kumar Singh director of IIM Trichy the PGPBM enables working professionals to enhance managerial ability and gain an MBA of international standards through face-to-face weekend interactions with our faculty without a break in their professions.

IIM Tiruchirapalli said that applications are available to those with a bachelor's degree and at least three years of full-time job experience. The program is reserved according to the Government of India's reservation policy.
