IIM Sirmaur Honours Cultural Unity with the Grand Finale of Smaran 3.0

The IIM Sirmaur campus united on October 14 to mark Hindi Month from September 14 - October 14 celebrating language, art and heritage. Throughout the month, the institute held Hindi language contests in the following areas: music, poetry recitation, calligraphy, dictation and essay writing. The activities were inclusive of students, faculty and their relatives, encouraging extensive participation.

The Smaran 3.0 conclusion featured scintillating performances in music, dance, drama and other arts. The elation of performers as well as audience participants created an upbeat and vibrant environment. The activity was characterised by its density.

 The richness of experience and precision implementation earned praise from participants and institute management alike.

The success of the program is owed to the organising committee who were Dr Atul Agrawal, Vaibhav Kumar, Vaibhav Mishra, Shreya Chakravarty, Snigdha Singh, Kamal Mittal, Tupur Mishra, Shaumili Haldar, Ekajoli Das, Vivek Kumar and Komalika. Hard work went into it by the organising team, which ensured that the event became a memorable one for everyone.

Event coordinator Dr Atul Agrawal declared winners of a number of contests were awarded during the closing ceremony. Dr Prafulla Agnihotri, Institute Director presented awards to the first three achievers in every sector. honoured the contribution of all participants, organisers and supporters.

In his address Dr Agnihotri pointed out the importance of cultural participation in academic. The speaker was optimistic that IIM Sirmaur would go on to encourage such efforts with enthusiasm and harmony in the years to come.
