A formal two-tier curriculum comprising the SEBI Investor Certification (Level I) and the NISM V-A Certification (Level II) will provide free certification and training to IIM Shillong students in accordance with the agreement.

The initiative will go beyond summer internships to promote enthusiastic student participation in long-term capacity building and financial literacy drives.

Prof. Naliniprava Tripathy, Director (I/c), IIM Shillong, emphasised the Institute's focus on promoting financial literacy as an empowerment tool, building research through data and aid in regulatory change.

She pointed out that integrating AMFI certification into student studies would lead to an era of trained trainers and ambassadors ensuring long-term impact across Meghalaya.

This such notable collaboration makes IIM Shillong one of the first educational institutions in the nation to partner with AMFI, promoting financial awareness and empowerment in accordance with Viksit Bharat's vision.
